Kia Ora Club Members
What a fantastic time to be a KIWI and ALL WHITES supporter.
The 2010 FIFA World Cup in South Africa has proven to be a great showcase for our mens footballers and the real nature of our kiwi sporting character . . . including the supporters !! Undefeated at the World Cup and no legitimate goals scored against us !! Who would have imagined this a month ago. Great also to see some karma with the cheating Italians and French sent home early ! But the action aint over - next up we have England against Germany 2:00am on Monday morning.

Commiserations to the Club Mens Football 1st Team after their huge 12-2 loss last Sunday to the Central League Napier City Rovers team, in the Chatham Cup. Keep your heads up lads and treat the loss as a valuable learning experience - from both a football and character perspective. For a rebuilding year, you guys have achieved some great results this year and one bad game does not make for a bad season.
Not many Sports clubs these days have their own Clubrooms - we are lucky and priviledged that we have such a great facility. But lets not take them for granted nor disrepect the efforts of those who worked hard to achieve them. The support of YOU and YOUR Team is crucial to the ongoing viability of the Clubrooms and whilst attendance every Saturday for a couple of hours may not always be possible we have a growing list of Clubroom strangers amongst our members. So come on lets not let this good thing be put in harms way - make the effort to make sure YOUR team is represented regularly ! We have great bar prices and great value meals - see you there . . . SOON !
The Club Members Draw has not been struck for the past 2 Saturday nights. Last Saturday John van Lienen from Wolves missed out and the previous week it was Simon Vale from Rangers. So this Saturday it jackpots to $200 - You can win just by being at the clubrooms !
Reminder to Football members that closing date for full payment of fees is nearing - make sure you and your team are up to date !
The Annual Nagy Fours Darts Champs were held at your Clubrooms the previous Saturday along with the BIG screen TV as the All Blacks demolished the Irish. The Darts were a great success with a 7 teams entering.
