Gidday Club Members
The Mens 1st Football team lost their 1st league game in approx 18 months last Saturday, and they have a tough away game this Saturday at Wembley Park against the league leaders - the newly formed Wanganui United. Good Luck to the boys and to the Rovers team playing the curtain-raiser. The Olympic Red Sox Netball Team have now gone 5 games undefeeated and play their joint league leaders, Feilding, next Tuesday 6pm at the Arena - it would be gerat to see a bunch of loud red sox wearing supporters cheer them home to a win !

With the return of the Thirsties to the same league as the Wrinklies we have the revival of one of the oldest rivalries existing in the Club. The Thirsties have been running white hot in the league so far, while the Wrinklies have had one of their worst ever starts, albeit they showed glimpses of their previous winning ways in dealing to the Celts last week - so the game on Saturday promises to be a real cracker !
Congratulations to Leigh Kohika (coach of Red Sox Olympic A1) who won $100 in the Club Members Draw last Saturday night- just by being at the clubrooms! This week the draw is back to $50. Remember, you have to be there to win ! |

As usual a 12 seater courtesy van will be available for travel to and from the Clubrooms for the Bar Tab Nite. Cost is $5 per person. Bulk rates can be negotiated with the driver where a number of people are going to the same destination. Bookings can be made from 12 noon on Saturday

Thanks to the team at techitezy, the Club now has use of a membership mangement software package called ClubMember. Members can LogIn from the link on the Club website and self manage their personal and contact details as well as see the transactions and balance of their membership account. All members will have today received an email advising their User ID and passwords to access their account |

We have access and use of the lower car park at our Clubrooms.
Rather than blocking the driveway, it would be appreciated if our genteleman members could please use the lower car park and make use of the rear entrance. Yes it can get a bit slippery on the grass slope, . . . . . but hey get over it ! |
