Gidday Club Members
Season 2010 has got off to great start with our Premier Netball and Mens Football Teams both undefeated.
Awesome news and Congratulations to both Teams. And our Womens Football Team have just the one loss !!
The tragic RNZAF helicopter crash last Sunday was very close to home for a lot of club members. The sincere condolences of all Red Sox Manawatu club members is extended to the families, friends and colleagues of the 3 RNZAF servicemen tragically killed. One of the deceased is the husband of one of our club netball members. Our Club Netball Manager Tanya Crawford says he was a great supporter of his wifes team and was often at the games each Saturday. Two of the deceased were members of the Freyberg Cricket Club, the President of which is our Club Football Manager, Dave (JD) Fulton. Our Best Wishes are also extended for a full recovery to the 4th crewman who was severely injured, in the crash.
Tomorrow, being 30 April is D-Day for Fees for Football members. By this date you need to have paid Fees in Full or paid a minimum of $50 plus advised the Treasurer by email of your payment plan that will get your fees fully paid no later than 31 July. For more details click here
For ALL Teams that have complied with their Football and Netball Fee payment arrangements by 30 April - they get a $100 Bar Tab redeemable at the Clubrooms on Saturday 8 May - this is a great night and combines with our Annual Champs for Rock Paper Scissors and Air Guitar !!

GENTLEMEN - START YOUR ENGINES !
Calling all gentlemen members.
We have access and use of the lower car park at our Clubrooms.
Rather than blocking the driveway, it would be appreciated if our genteleman members could please use the lower car park and make use of the rear entrance. Yes it can get a bit slippery on the grass slope, . . . . . but hey get over it !

Murray Burling has established a new Futsal League. It is currently up and running on Wednesday nights and further leagues and nights are being planned for:
Men, Women, Mixed, Social, Youth and Over35 teams.

MYSTERY PERSON TRIVIA PRIZE
From time to time in your Club newsletter we will publish a picture of Club Players and Supporters. If the person(s) is/are at the Clubrooms the following Saturday for the weekly Club Prizegiving with their team from 6-7pm AND they can answer a sports trivia question they will qualify for a prize using the "Irish Raffle System".
