What a great nite was had again at the Annual Bar Tab Nite. Congratulations to Gordon from the Thirsties Football Team on winning the 3rd annual Rock Paper Scissors Champs and to Trish from the Seriously Social Netball Team on winning the inaugural Air Guitar Champs !!
Congratulations also to the Mens 1sts Football Team who have had a great start to the 2009 season and an awesome last 2 weeks with an 11-0 demolition of Wanganui Athletic, in Wanganui, and then the 2-1 away win after extra time last Saturday in Gisborne in the Chatham Cup.
The weekly Membership Cash Jackpot Draw has still not be been claimed so far this season - this week it will be $350. To win you have to be financial and in the Clubrooms from 6-7pm !

YOUNGHEART COACH APPOINTED
Congratulations to the YoungHeart Manawatu Coach Bob Sova on his re-appointment this week for the 2009/10 season.
When spoken to in an exclusive interview with the RedSox Newsletter Breaking News Dept, Bob was adamant that he could directly attribute his coaching prowess to the valuable lessons learned when coaching the Red Sox Wrinklies and O45 Masters Team a couple of years back. Whilst traumatic in the extreme at the time he has now come to recognise what luck he had to be exposed to such a diverse range of skill, ability and bluffery. Good Luck Bob ! |

MYSTERY PERSON TRIVIA PRIZE
From time to time in your Club newsletter we will publish a picture of Club Players and Supporters. If the person(s) is/are at the Clubrooms the following Saturday for the weekly Club Prizegiving with their team from 6-7pm AND they can answer a sports trivia question they will qualify for a prize using the "Irish Raffle System".
