Whilst the soccer and netball seasons have now completed for all club teams, there is still plenty of sport around for us with the Rugby World Cup in France and the Phoenix in the A-League riding a wave after their awesome away win over Sydney FC.
The Red Sox Manawatu U19's are still training 3x a week in preparation for their tournament in Upper Hutt at the start of October and looming on the horizon is the Netball World Champs in Auckland.
The Club AGM is being held on Thursday 11 October - this is your chance to have your say, to reflect on the past year and to contribute to future plans. New Committee members are always welcome and you can also contribute without being on the Committee as there are several jobs that can be done in your own time.
Don't be backwards in coming forward ! Maybe also there are some retired folks who may be looking to help the Club with a small regular job. |
