MOVEMBER WITH THE ROSE & CROWN
As per the separate email message, YOUR Club is proud to join with the Rose & Crown to support the annual Movember Moustache growing competiton, which this year is raising funds and awareness for the NZ Prostrate Cancer Foundation. Every year in New Zealand approx 2,700 men are diagnosed with prostate cancer and about 600 die of the disease, making prostate cancer the second largest cause of male deaths, after lung cancer. Denny Brunton is arranging a "BIT OF A DO" fundariser on Friday 9 November to help send patients to their Annual Conference in Auckland.

RED SOX MANAWATU DARTS TEAM
Captain Steve Fryer lead the team to an away win over the Albert Sports Cafe Team in an entertaining game of doubles and singles last Friday. The return match will be held at the Clubrooms in February. Following the darts, Red Sox were also successful with the Karaoke with our Red Sox Idol winner winning the Main Prize for the evening.
