Season 2006: Coaches and Managers
Applications are now being received for the Coach and Manager roles for ALL sports teams for Season 2006.
In regards to mens soccer we especially need to see some experience at the helm and playing with the Youth Teams.

Central League Mens Soccer
The Red Sox Manawatu team have not had the best of luck with their results this season and will be participating in the playoffs to retain their spot. The Central League comprises the top teams in the lower half of the North Island, from New Plymouth to Gisborne to Wellington, so it is imperative for the Club and for Manawatu soccer that we retain our spot in this league. The play off games consist of the winners of the 2 regional federation leagues (Central Fed & Wgtn Fed) playing each other home & away, then that winner playing Red Sox home & away. The 2 regional winners are Gisborne Thistle and Stop Out. The first play-off game for Red Sox Manawatu is likely to be the weekend of 3/4 September with the 2nd game being played the following weekend. For both games we would liek to see as many supporters as possible. For the away game, which will be to either Gisborne or Wellington, we will arrange a bus if sufficient numbers exist. If you are interested in using a bus please reply to:   playoffbus@redsox.co.nz

Fees & Fines
There is very large value of unpaid fees and fines which is NOT sustainable for the Club to carry. You can help the Club by paying any monies owing ASAP or chasing up any fellow members whom you know are 'behind'.

Sponsors
Simply put, the Club could NOT exist without the support of its many sponsors. Please take the opportunity to make use of the many Club and Team Sponsors wherever possible and when using them, let them know you are from Red Sox Manawatu and how much their support is appreciated. The sponsors are shown on the Club website:    www.redsox.co.nz

Newsletter
The Club distributes the newsletter solely by email. Please feel free to forward this email to other Club members and supporters and encourage them to have direct receipt by registering on the website.
