	Welcome to Red Sox ~ We Have a Dream ~ Don't You Forget It ! Greetings Club Members: The Annual Bar Tab Nite held last Saturday was a great success with the Latinos team continuing their run of strong placings in the finals of the Rock Paper Scissors Champs with Vilma Milano winning from 86 contestants ! Congratulations Vilma (pictured below with Certificate surrounded by her support team) and thanks to all those attending for their participation. There was an unusual level of shyness when it came to the Air Guitar Champs so these will be held at a later date. The mens 1sts football team started very well with their game last week v North End but unfortunately fell away to lose 1-3 on a dangerous long-grassed paddock aka Skoglund #1. We wish them well and safe travels in their away game in Wanganui tomorrow being the start of the second round. Sixty club members have tickets in the RedSox Block Booking for the EPL Double Header at Westpac Stadium on Saturday 26 July with games being Sydney FC v West Ham and Phoenix v Newcastle ! The Events Calendar for the Club has now been finalised for Season 2014 and we have a massive line-up of events available, ranging from Darts, Pool, Quiz Nite, Red Sox Idol and the return of the Netball Fillys Nite - click here for the details Dont forget we have a Live Band - BACK2VINYL playing hits from the 70s and 80s this Saturday Nite. The kitchen will be open and the Courtesy Van (0292 REDSOX) will be operating
	Football: Teams are reminded to ensure that results and team cards are actioned as per new process immediately after each game.	Netball: Good Luck to all our Red Sox teams for their second week of league games this Saturday !

	*Todays Smiler:* Accidental Celebration A woman and a man get into a car accident, and it's a bad one. Both cars are totally demolished, but amazingly neither of them is hurt. After they crawl out of their cars, the woman says, "So you're a man, that's interesting. And I'm a woman... Wow! Just look at our cars. There's nothing left, but fortunately we are unhurt. This must be a sign from God that we should meet and become friends and live together in peace the rest of our days." The man replied, "I agree with you completely; this must be a sign from God!" The woman continued, "And look at this - here's another miracle. My car is completely demolished but this bottle of Mogen David wine didn't break. Surely God wants us to drink this wine and celebrate our good fortune." So she hands the bottle to the man. The man nods his head in agreement, opens it and takes a few big swigs from the bottle, then hands it back to the woman. The woman takes the bottle, immediately puts the cap back on, and hands it back to the man. The man takes the bottle and asks, "Aren't you having any?" The woman replies, "No. I think I will just wait for the police..." (and that your honour is why I shot her)
