	Welcome to Red Sox ~ We Have a Dream ~ Don't You Forget It ! Greetings Club Members Not many of you may realise but our club yachting team has been going really well lately. "Red Sox" aka Emirates Team NZ are 'blowing' the Oracle team away - albeit the last win is being a wee bit elusive. But all bodes well for the Cup to be won in the morning and rumour has it that Deans Grandads older brother may be in attendance at the Clubrooms for PrizeGiving and will be making a wee speech on behalf of the Barker family !! Speaking of which, the Annual Prizegiving is on tomorrow night and don't fret, if you have yet to get your ticket, then door sales will be available @ $25ea. 	Football: An All-Stars team is playing the Club U19s at Bill Brown Park tomorrow 3pm KO. Bring your boots down if you want a run - meet 2pm	Netball: 1 each in the Constellation Cup and the Silver Ferns need to to get 2 wins in Aussie - Good Luck !!

	*Todays Smiler:* HAVE YOU EVER BEEN GUILTY OF LOOKING AT OTHERS YOUR OWN AGE AND THINKING, SURELY I CAN'T LOOK THAT OLD? WELL ...... MY NAME IS ALICE SMITH AND I WAS SITTING IN THE WAITING ROOM FOR MY FIRST APPOINTMENT WITH A NEW DENTIST. I NOTICED HIS DENTAL DIPLOMA, WHICH BORE HIS FULL NAME. SUDDENLY, I REMEMBERED A TALL, HANDSOME, DARK HAIRED BOY WITH THE SAME NAME HAD BEEN IN MY SECONDARY SCHOOL CLASS SOME 30-ODD YEARS AGO. COULD HE BE THE SAME GUY THAT I HAD A SECRET CRUSH ON, WAY BACK THEN ? UPON SEEING HIM, HOWEVER, I QUICKLY DISCARDED ANY SUCH THOUGHT. THIS BALDING, GREY HAIRED MAN WITH THE DEEPLY LINED FACE WAS FAR TOO OLD TO HAVE BEEN MY CLASSMATE. AFTER HE EXAMINED MY TEETH, I ASKED HIM IF HE HAD ATTENDED MORGAN PARK SECONDARY SCHOOL. 'YES, YES I DID. I'M A MORGANNER ! 'HE BEAMED WITH PRIDE. 'WHEN DID YOU LEAVE TO GO TO COLLEGE ?' I ASKED HE ANSWERED, IN 1985. WHY DO YOU ASK ? 'YOU WERE IN MY CLASS !' I EXCLAIMED. HE LOOKED AT ME CLOSELY. THEN THE UGLY, OLD, BALD, WRINKLED, FAT ARSED, GREY HAIRED, DECREPIT, BASTARD ASKED . . 'WHAT DID YOU TEACH ?'
