Football - Saturday:
The road to Central League got a whole lot harder for our 1st team with their away draw to Taradale recently, doing everything but get the ball into the net apparently. They play Feilding this week at Memorial Park so hopefully they can again earn some valuable points. Our Club also entered the Federation Cup this year which is like the Chatham Cup but restricted to teams from within the region and to players who have not played Chatham Cup. Our Rovers team travel to New Plymouth to play Peringa tomorrow, so good luck to them also and safe travels

Saturday Nite @ YOUR Clubrooms:

Darts Pairs are on at YOUR Clubrooms this Saturday and the BIG screen will be showin the Super 15 Hurricances v Highlanders then the Lions v Wallabies decider. All welcome to enter the Darts and we will have 1st Try Scorer PICK for the S15 game which could see a large Bar Tab available for those present. And remember every purchase gets you an entry in the $50 Bar Tab Patronage Draw.

Saturday Weekly PrizeGiving - New Format:
Given that this season a number of teams are always playing early, there will be an early weekly prizegiving for those teams at 4pm then the usual weekly Club Prizegiving starts at 6pm. EVERY club team is eligible to receive a Drink voucher and a Rose & Crown Player of the Day Award, entitling the winner to a FREE meal at the Rose & Crown Pub in Terrace End. Every Saturday at your Clubrooms the two Pool Tables & four Dart Boards are operational and we have Freeview and SkyTV. We also have a table tennis table available - so bring the family along and have a great time ! Maria & Roberto provide a selection of great value meals from the Clubrooms Kitchen.
