One of NZ's local football favourite sons returns to the Manawatu when YoungHeart coach Stu Jacobs’ new-look side take on Canterbury United on Sunday.
The former Palmerston North Boys High and Manawatu United defender is excited to be back on home turf after more than twenty years away.
"It’s going to be exciting ride hopefully," Jacobs said, "we are slightly behind the eight-ball in terms of our preparation but we’re looking to put our best foot forward – we’re looking to develop for the future, it’s not just about this season."
