NETBALL
GREAT news for our Netball with the Olympic Club joining forces with Red Sox, so we will have club teams from Premier 1 to Senior B2 this season !
Netball Trials will be as follows:
- Premier 1-3 teams will be held at St Peters College:
Tuesday 16 February 5:30pm (Outdoor Courts)
Thursday 18 February 5:30pm (Gymn)
- Premier 4 & below will be held at St Peters College
Thursday 25 February 5:30pm (Gymn)
Netball Prem 1 Grading - March 27 & 30
Netball Manawatu AGM is 17 March - to be sure !
Club Registration Day for netball players will be 10am Sat 20 March at Clubrooms - all fees payable

WOMENS FOOTBALL
Annual 7-aside tournament will be held 1st weekend in March as usual. Training dates will be posted here soon.

MENS FOOTBALL
Training for the 1st & reserve teams is at Monrad Park 6-8pm every Tuesday and Thursday.
Note - The Mens 1st Team will be playing in the re-introduced Federation League, comprising the top teams from the 2009 Western and Eastern Leagues. The Reserves Team (Rovers) will be promoted to the Western Premiership. The A's and Rangers Teams will remain playing in Mid Central 1 League
Youth Team training - Thursdays 6-8pm at Monrad Park
Light training games for other teams are being held each Sunday morning 10am at Celaeno Park (off Roberts Line). ALL welcome to attend. This will change to Monrad Park sometime in February.
Club Registration Day for football players will be 4:30pm Sunday 28 February at Clubrooms

RED SOX WIN WESTERN PREMIERSHIP |
|

Saturday 1 August
Congratulations to the Stewarts Powerbase Red Sox Manawatu Mens Football 1sts Team on winning the Western Premiership with a 4-0 win over Takaro. The team now play a home and away series, starting away on Saturday 15 August, against the winners of the Eastern Premiership, being Maycenvale for the title of Central Federation Champions. The winner of that series then goes onto play a home and away series against the Capital Federation Champions, being Tawa to determin which team gets to challenge the bottom placed team in the Central League for a place in the 2010 Central League (comprised of the top teams from the Capital & Central Federations).
Congratulations also to the Rovers and Thirsties Teams on winning their respective leagues | |
